Her studio is very spacious and Ruth is very welcoming and helpful. We planned our wedding in four months and Bridal Redress was exactly what I needed. I tried on three dresses in the barn; me, mum and nan had the place to ourselves and this one stood out as it was a satin white diamond colour and would fit perfectly for our Colchester Castle wedding. It was also new and had been reduced from over a thousand pounds to £470. It only needed slight alterations in the length which Ruth organised and it fitted well as it has a pretty corset at the back. Thank you Bridal Redress! This place is definitely worth a look! Ruth has much experience and can also advise you as to what dress works best.

I found my dream dress on my first visit to Bridal Re-dress. On the Wedding day and for many days after people said “how spectacular and unique my dress was!” I also feel I have made an ethical buy with money going to Charities. Ruth’s Salon is set up in the beautiful countryside of Colchester and I had the whole place to myself which made me feel special. Prior to moving to Canada I had 4 months until our wedding in Ireland. It was so wonderful to have someone so understanding about the need for a dress in such a short time as the dress shops I had tried in Colchester were very snooty about the timeframe. Also they did not have the variety of styles that you offered. It was great to have the place to ourselves and to have the freedom of so much time with your expertise. I knew when I put my dress on that it was mine and was so happy with the decision and the price and the fact that it was an ethical dress especially with the money going back to charity! A very big thank-you for helping me to find such a perfect wedding dress. I received so many compliments on the day and, more importantly, I felt a really great combination of a million dollars, but also super comfy and confident. I was just able to relax and enjoy the day, without fretting about how my dress looked. The corsagette in particular was a great hit and the perfect way to complete my outfit.

I've told everyone about Bridal Re-dress - both about what a lovely experience it was coming and finding a dress, and also just what a great model you've created to benefit a whole host of good causes.
